This is the Biography of Fluffy Star

In the Summer of 99, Fluffy Starr began as a solo project for a girl called Fluffy. She didn’t know a lot about music at the time, but that kind of thing never stopped her, so she taught herself how to sing, play the synth, program, produce and engineer. She learned to control the machines. And from that, came the creation of songs. Six months later, fellow musicians and producer/engineers Jim and Paule, jumped onboard and delved into the madness that Fluffy had started. And that began what Fluffy Starr is today.

Their influences include many synth-laced bands of yesterday and today, and anything Science Fiction -- movies, art, and imagery, and also technology -- which has been the biggest influence of all.

When not working on music, Fluffy writes books, which fuels her already wild imagination, giving her outrageous ideas for songs. Paule, who is classically trained, is never without his synth, like a modern day Mozart. And Jim, creates abstract digital art or is found assaulting his guitar whenever he gets the chance.

Mainly, the Fluffy Starr project was created so they could have the kind of music they themselves wanted to hear. 100% self gratification. And now after nearly 3 years, they have accumulated a loyal fan-base, and have been interviewed in The New York Waste. On MP3.com (where they test marketed their music) they have had a song reach #12 in their overall Top 40 (out of over a million songs). Fluffy Starr was chosen to star in a video filmed by an Emmy Nominated Director, which featured the Fluffy Starr song “Perfect” and tons of CG animation and special effects. This video received airplay on Much Music in Canada . And that is only the beginning of the journey…

Fluffy Starr has come together with two new members – Cal and Mike, and are currently putting together their live show and will be rocking out in front of their fans soon!
